Working with Global Settings
The Global Settings page displays the following tabs:
•Page Layout
•Logo
•Typography
•Buttons
•Header
•Menu Navigation
•Additional Settings
Page Layout
Use the Page Layout tab to set the content width and the Left/Right margin space.
To set the width and space:
1.Log in to Neurons for ITSM as a Self Service user, and then switch to Administrator.
2.Click Edit Page on the top-right corner of the page. The Page Designer page appears.
3.Click Global Settings, and then click Page Layout.
4.Specify the following details:
•Content width
•Content spacing
Logo
Use the Logo tab to set your logo for the workspace.
To set the logo:
1.Click Edit Page on the top-right corner of the page. The Designer page appears.
2.Click Global Settings, and then click Logo.
3.Specify the following details:
•Site Logo
•Logo Spacing
•(Optional) enable separate logo for mobile and enable Favorite icon.
You can also use the edit and delete options to upload a new logo and delete the logo.
Typography
Use the Typography tab to set the primary, secondary and body default font, and size.
To set the typography:
1.Click Edit Page on the top-right corner of the page. The Designer page appears.
2.Click Global Settings, and then click Typography.
3.Specify the following details:
•Primary font
•Primary font default size
•Secondary font
•Body default font size
Buttons
Use the Buttons tab to configure the look and feel of the buttons displayed across the pages.
To configure the buttons:
1.Click Global Settings, and then click Buttons to preview. (Optional) Click to edit the background color, text color, border type, and border radius of the buttons.
2.Click Ok.
3.You can also click Reset to default style to reset to default.
Header
Use the Header tab to display the title on the header of the page. You can set the title text color, background color, and icon color.
The Icon color will be applied to all icons in the header that includes the menu icon.
To configure the header:
1.Navigate to Global Settings, and then select Header.
2.Provide the following information:
•Toggle the Show title button to display or hide the title.
•Enter the Title text.
•Choose the Title text color.
•Select the Background color.
•Specify the Icon color.
3.Optionally, enable or disable the Search bar, Alerts, and Shopping cart features based on your requirement.
Menu Navigation
Use the Menu Navigation tab to edit the workspace name and display text.
To set the menu navigation:
1.Click Global Settings, and then click Menu Navigation.
2.Select or clear the check box for the workspace that you want to display, and clear the checkbox for the workspace that you do not want to display.
3.(Optional) Click to change the display text for a workspace name that you want to change.
4.You can also click the Select All checkbox to display all the workspaces.
Additional Settings
Use the Additional Settings tab to enable or disable the following features:
•FAQ
•Welcome Message
To set up the welcome message on the Self Service Portal Home page,, enter the Message Text, Message Sub Text, and selectthe Welcome Text Color under the Welcome Message section.
To dynamically include the user's name in the "Message Text," use the placeholders #firstname and #lastname. For example, if a user name is Test User, enter Welcome #Test #User. The welcome message will display the user's name as "Welcome Test User".
You can also use the Translator link to translate the Message Text and Message Sub Text into your preferred language.
